Sensitive Construction Environments

Some locations offer special challenges when constructing a new building or doing a major addition.

For example, schools are often located in residential neighborhoods or a new wing for a hospital may run adjacent to patient rooms. In some cases, construction may need to happen near a public park or protected woodlands area. Warrior Group is experienced at finding innovative solutions for difficult sites or delicate locations.

Sometimes, PMC is the best solution in these circumstances. Because most the construction occurs off-site, the impact of construction at the building site is minimized. This means there is less noise, less traffic and less activity that can bother adjacent property owners. The size of the construction area can also be smaller since there are fewer workers at the site and the majority of the materials are stored at the pre-fabrication site rather than on the job site. This can significantly reduce the amount of intrusion on neighboring properties as well as environmental disturbance, which can be critical in areas with sensitive ecology. PMC also keeps building materials secure, because the majority of building supplies are stored in the factory and are protected from the elements, vandalism and theft.

Most importantly, PMC reduces the overall construction time by as much as one-third, so the unavoidable disruptions of major construction are minimized, quickly restoring order and harmony to the surrounding area.
