DeSoto, Texas – August 31, 2011 – Warrior Group, a DeSoto‐based general contractor that delivers commercial construction projects for the public and private sectors, has appointed Michael Loinette as lead estimator, responsible managing the company’s estimating and preconstruction services. Loinette has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry with expertise in estimating, preconstruction services and purchasing as well as project and program management services.
“Mike has an outstanding reputation in the industry for his conceptual, preconstruction, and hard bid estimating,” said Phil Slingerland, Warrior Group chief operating officer. “Specializing in the preconstruction services side of projects gives Mike the opportunity to impact a job during the design phase. He is particularly adept at discovering the key drivers of a particular project and identifying the components that will make it successful.”
Prior to joining Warrior Group, Loinette held a variety of estimating, preconstruction services, and construction management services positions in the construction industry, including at a major national general contracting firm. His project experience includes large municipal buildings, hospitals, corporate headquarters, hotels, stadiums and high rise residential buildings.
Loinette, a LEED Accredited Professional, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
